Egypt Center for Research and Regenerative Medicine
ECRRM is a reference medical research center that provides high-quality and innovative laboratory testing using advanced tools. Our approach is to provide advanced medical research activities specialized in infectious diseases, communicable and non-communicable diseases through our central laboratory and regenerative medicine facility.
Within the scope of the country’s general policy in the field of scientific research, the center aims to mobilize, utilize and develop all capabilities of scientific research and medical studies, and for this purpose it may carry out all the functions that aim to achieve its objectives, in particular the following:
- Conducting clinical, pre-clinical and applied medical research related to the aspects of endemic and infectious diseases, epidemics and viral control, in accordance with the legal rules and regulations established in this regard.
- Conducting research, innovations and pre-clinical trials of stem cells and tissue engineering to achieve the application of these technologies in clinical trials for who prove their efficacy in the laboratory while adhering to strict ethical and technical standards and all relevant local and international accreditation and quality assurance standards, in accordance with the technical procedures and legal rules established in this matter.
- Development of research, practical and clinical applications of stem cells and tissue engineering in the treatment of patients.
- Conducting new research and studies in the medical fields in accordance with the approved technical procedures and the legal rules established in this regard.
- Developing the existing pharmaceutical industries, generating new industries based on the techniques and sciences of regenerative medicine, and discovering new vaccines and drugs
- Carrying out research and applied projects alone or jointly with others, both at home and abroad
- Conducting agreements and contracts with Egyptian, Arab, African, foreign or international bodies and companies in his field of competence. In addition to agreement with other bodies in common areas that achieve his objectives.
- To act as a reference Egyptian central laboratory and take the necessary measures for its accreditation locally and internationally
